Design Documents are the initial phase in crafting a learning solution. Following a thorough needs analysis and identification of both the organization's objectives and learning gaps, a design document outlines the high level overview of the project's scope and content.
Problem: Small business owners could be using Google for their business without understanding how to optimize use for order management and tracking.
Solution: A series of courses that will outline specifics on how to use Google effectively for any small business. This design document gives a high-level overview of the first course in this series on how a small business can manage order inventory with Google Sheets. This course will be developed in Articulate Storyline 360.
Additional Deliverables:
Problem: Freshly Baked, a home-based cookie business, needs to hire and train a virtual assistant to handle customer inquiries and quotes.
Solution: An Articulate Rise course will allow for off-site training of a virtual assistant to become knowledgeable about the order inquiry and quoting process at Freshly Baked. This design document presents a broad overview of the Articulate Rise 360 course to be devleoped.

Problem: Magical Moments is a travel agency planning magical vacations for people traveling to Walt Disney World. New and existing travel agents at Magical Moments need to have continual training to stay up to date on new resorts, dining, and changes to Walt Disney World.
Solution: This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) gives the most up-to-date information about resort accommodations, dining, and services like Walt Disney World's Genie+ system. Due to the ever-changing landscape at Walt Disney World, this training will need to be updated as changes are announced.

Storyboards provide an in-depth examination of each course, offering all stakeholders a comprehensive look at the flow and organization of content and the level of engagement for the learner. Storyboards allow stakeholders to review the course and agree to progress with the development phase of the course.
Problem: Small business owners could be using Google for their business without understanding how to optimize use for order management and tracking.
Solution: This storyboard was designed as the slide-by-slide outline of the first course in a series to aid small business owners to use Google more effectively for their small businesses to track inventory availability in real-time as orders are being submitted via Google Forms. This storyboard details the visual elements, on-screen text, voice-over script, and interactions for this course.
Additional Deliverables:
Problem: Company X is having issues with hiring managers leading effective interviews causing frustration among hiring managers and interview candidates. This issue is resulting in subpar hiring for the company.
Solution: This Vyond video is a quick review of best interview practices for Company X that can be shared with hiring managers to remind them of the interview best practices that will lead to better talent being hired for the company.
